This year the Serbia Network Operators’ Group (RSNOG) organizes its annual conference in partnership with the international Internet Society, which means that the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade will be the venue on 23rd November for two events, one after the other – the ISOC ION Conference and the Third RSNOG Conference. First RSNOG Conference held

On 25th November the Belgrade Sava Centre was the venue for the first RSNOG Conference, with some 130 network experts from the major Serbian telecommunications providers and Internet companies, (such as: Telekom Srbija, Telenor, Vip Mobile, Serbian Open eXchange, Serbian Post, Mainstream, EUnet, Radijus Vektor, AVcom, Beotel, Optima Grupa), manufacturers and integrators of telecommunications equipment (Alcatel, Ericsson, Saga, Pupin Telekom, Datacom), academic and research institutions (the University of Niš, the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Technical Sciences, the Academic Network of Serbia, the University of Belgrade School of Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of Computer Science, the Polytechnic Academy), state bodies (the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the Ministry of Defence, the Administration for Joint Services of Republic Bodies, the Belgrade Higher Court, Belgrade City Assembly, Obrenovac municipal council) and civil society organisations (the SHARE Foundation, the Society for Information Technology of Serbia). The conference was additionally watched by an audience of around 300 via an Internet stream and was sponsored by RNIDS and RIPE NCC.

First RSNOG Conference

First RSNOG Conference

On November 25, 2015, the Belgrade Sava Centre will be the venue for the first RSNOG conference, bringing together around twenty Serbian network experts. The conference is sponsored by RNIDS and RIPE NCC and participation is free of charge.

The first RSNOG conference will begin at 2 pm in the Japanese Room with presentations by Vladimir Simić (JUNIS), Nenad Krajnović (Belgrade School of Electrical Engineering), Boško Radivojević (Mainstream), Zoran Perović (Serbian Open eXchange), Milan Anđelković (Radijus Vektor) and Peđa Radoičić (Telenor). At 5 pm there will be a discussion on the topic “Open Networking in practice”.
